“FISHING AND ADVENTURE“ HITS NEW ZEALAND SCREENS THIS AUGUST

Fishing and Adventure is back on TVNZ 1 this August with their brand-new season
and their epic new Surtees ‘Holy Ship 2.0’. Season eight finds the crew regularly in
unfamiliar waters, with episodes filmed in a number of exciting new locations around
New Zealand, including the Bay of Plenty, Wairarapa, Coromandel, Taranaki,
Northland and Raglan.

Scott and Mig continue to try and land their challenge fish, and avoid the nasty
consequences, while providing fishing tips and tricks along the way to viewers of all
ages.

This season is a handful of classic grass roots style episodes, mixed with a few of the
Fishing and Adventure trademark ‘mission’ style trips including one to the legendary
D'urville Island in the Marlborough Sounds. Here, the boys get stuck into some South
Island variety fish including big snapper and kingfish across two must-watch special
episodes.

Scott and Mig also step off their boat and out of their comfort zone for a freshwater
episode and have a go at some trout and salmon action in the Twizel Canals,
Canterbury.

Fishing and Adventure has continued to raise the bar each year and this year is no
different. Viewers will be treated to underwater action shots and beautiful scenery
showcasing some of the best fishing spots New Zealand has to offer.
