Dateline: Season 11 premiers on TVNZ ONE, Sunday 23 July 2023 at 4.30pm and will run for 10 episodes.

The adventure continues. A pipe dream turned into one of New Zealand’s top fishing shows sees another impressive season released on TVNZ ONE in a couple of weeks’ time.

Presenters Scott Parry and Mig Rumney are humbled to be able to continue producing exciting new content for their viewers as their 11th season hits screens.

“We’ve been blown away by the continued positive feedback from our viewers. It’s these people who inspire us to keep on producing the best possible version of Fishing & Adventure we can.” Explains Director and Co-presenter Scott Parry.

“With our online presence growing through social media and YouTube, we still aim to deliver the TV viewers the content they demand and this new season will hopefully do exactly that.”

Season 11 sees the crew back adventuring around the country, hunting down those elusive challenge fish and getting into all sorts of epic adventures along the way.

If things weren’t challenging enough with the tight turnaround filming trips and lofty challenges, the crew had to deal with what was easily one of the worst seasons of weather they have ever experienced.

Co-presenter Mig Rumney says “It was a tough summer, but we soldiered on through. To fit in filming around the weather we had to chase fish in new and exciting locations, and we ended up having an absolute blast.”

“We managed variety filled episodes featuring big fish and hunting off the wild west coast of Wellington and the Wellington Harbour and big kingfish, snapper and trevally off Wanganui and New Plymouth.”

The team headed to areas they’d never fished before and the footage will not disappoint. The challenge to land a billfish created hectic game fishing scenes off the coast of Whangamata and Raglan. Cuvier Island features in an action-packed overnighter episode to top off plenty of grassroots-style content with Kawhia harbour and Little Barrier Island.

“We’re absolutely stoked with what we were able to achieve this season, especially with all the weather challenges, but as per usual, we found a way and we can’t wait to share these episodes with our viewers.” Says Parry.

Season 11 continues to push the boundaries of adventure television, delivering an unmatched fishing experience that keeps viewers coming back for more.
