Surtees has a rich history of training excellent boat builders, and as we grow alongside marine design technology, we are always on the lookout for qualified team members.

If you have experience or want to learn the aluminium boat-building craft, we would like to chat. We would also like to hear from you if you are qualified in marine engineering or fitting or have some CAD design experience. We offer competitive rates and a friendly, active team culture. Surtees is an innovative, forward-thinking company, and we provide an apprenticeship training programme through the MAST Academy.

Employees are paid their wages as usual, and the company pays for the apprenticeship. Apprentices are incentivised to complete their training in a timely manner with the option to pay into their apprenticeship – if they complete within the allocated time, they get their input back.
