Isabell

Isabell is a keen as fisherwoman, who looks after Marketing &amp; Direct Sales of our boats. Most of you might have met her somewhere along the way, potentially at Fishing Competitions, Boat Shows or at the ramp.
Originally from Germany, Isabell lives the Kiwi life to the fullest, and if she is not on the water fishing or diving, she spends her free time in the bush hunting or flying little planes around the country.

Vanessa

Vanessa looks after the accounts. She has a big heart and looks after the boys, so they can concentrate on building awesome boats. 
As much as she likes fishing, her heart beats more for fast cars and 4 Wheel Driving.
She also likes bush walks and mountain bike riding. She lives with her husband and their 5 fur babies 2 dogs, 3 cats in Awakeri and enjoys her evening walks with the dogs.

Cliff  

Cliff has been with Surtees for over 20 years and there is no way you could imagine Surtees without him. Cliff started as a “hey you” when he was 16 years old and worked in several departments until now where he sits at the helm as General Manager to steer Surtees into the future!
After work he loves hanging out with his kids, enjoys mountain biking on the weekends and using his 610 Game Fisher, the &#8220;OG&#8221;.

Kris

Kris has worked for Surtees for several years now, starting as a welder building boats and finding a true passion. This did not go unnoticed and he moved up the ranks fairly quickly, now running production and overseeing not just the fabrication department but also fitout, upholstery and the paint shop.
Kris loves spending time with his family and going fishing – especially in the canals down South where he is originally from.

Mark

Mark is the “bloody legend” people rave about. He’s is the one who you’ll talk to when you need parts, a retro-fit or service done on your Surtees.
Responsible for purchasing all the parts for your boats and supporting fit out, Mark will go above and beyond for you but will also be straight forward to manage expectations in the best possible way. Mark loves being active, and you can often see him cycling to work, at the pools or at a yoga class in Whakatane.

Ellie

Ellie is the friendly voice on the phone when you ring the factory and the smiley face in the office. Ellie deals with the day-to-day running of the factory and keeps the boys on their toes. She ensures all the boats are scheduled, trailers are ordered and looks after health &amp; safety.
She also runs the HR side of the business and takes the weekly progress photos for our customers. In her free time she loves to spend time with her kids, eat yummy food and enjoys nature on her daily walks.
